This authentic medieval mountain shelter is a new member of the Swiss Historic Hotel group, since October 2012.
If you happen to ask a fashionable guest, especially of international clientele: “how did you happen to chose Zuort to be your Swiss Alpine destination?”, the answer is predictable: “Zuort is the most remote Swiss Historic Hotel”.
Untouched nature and attention to detail seem to be highly appreciated.
In this realm Zuort can impress and spoil its guests equally.
Location and style epitomize the time capsule and the mountain retreat.
Since December 2016 Zuort is led by two local tenants:
DOREEN CARPANETTI ist hotelkeeper, peasant woman and mother from Vnà, while Nona Alma occasionally helps out in the kitchen.
MEINRAD ZWERGER from Schluderns in Vinschgau already was host of Zuort a few years ago. He is an experienced allrounder at the Hof and is best known for his South Tyrolean and Engadine specialities.
